TK Maxx treasure hunting!

Updated: Jan 3

Wouldn't it be easier to do all your Christmas present shopping in one shop?

#AD Tk Maxx has always been my go-to destination for luxury brands at affordable prices, there really is something for everyone of all ages and no matter how big or small your budget is you are guaranteed to find the perfect presents for your loved ones. That's why Tk Maxx challenged me to find a variety of presents for £50 or under, so armed with my gift card in hand I took to my nearest Tk Maxx store to begin treasure hunting!

As I entered the store I was immediately drawn to the array of sweet treats that were situated at the front of the store. There was so much to choose from and they were all sectioned off into categories such as chocolate, biscuits, gins, sweets and more which made it easy to browse through the choices. In this same section, they had 'create your own hamper' baskets which I loved the idea of and I will be returning to the store this week to make an extra special hamper for my partner but during this particular trip, I focused on getting presents for several member's of my family instead. In the end, I choose some Clotted Cream Biscuits that came in the most gorgeous Christmas tin for £4.99 (RRP £6.32).

I then moved onto the bags, scarfs and gloves section also situated at the front of the store on the opposite side. I browsed through the isles before stumbling across a thick warm luxury brand scarf that just so happened to match the wellies and coat my mum had treated herself to not long ago and at just £16.99 it was a no-brainer I HAD to get it!

We carried on past the cashiers desk and checked out what I like to call the 'girly section' with its sea of make-up, bath treats and cosy lounge-ware. I choose a classy branded cosmetic bag at just £7.99 that was perfect for my eldest sister and a pair of super cozy hand-knitted socks for £3.99 (RRP £20.00 HUGE saving).

There was still so much downstairs for me to choose from but with only 3 people left on my Christmas list one being a male and the others being children I headed upstairs to check out what they had to offer up there. I had to tear myself away from the homeware section as I found so many products that I desperately wanted to purchase for my own home (I had to remind myself several times while walking around that I was shopping for presents and not for myself!)

I ventured into the men's section and picked up some thick luxury branded socks for the only male on my list (we are a very female-dominated family) for £5.99 because you can't go wrong with a pair of new socks at Christmas right?

With my last £10, I ventured into the children's section, I wanted to treat my baby girl and 2-year-old son to a little something extra to add to their stockings. I found the most lovely ducky ball for my daughter for £5.99 (RRP £7.99) and an adorable little hippy truck toy for just £3.99.

I was able to get a total of 7 presents with my £50 gift card, I was spoilt for choice in every department of the store and even found some goodies at the checkout that would make wonderful stocking fillers. Tk Maxx is the perfect place to shop for all the family and find hidden gems you would of never even thought of getting, the layout of the shop made it easy for me to seamlessly browse through each department quickly and efficiently and I will be returning before Christmas again to get some last-minute bits for sure. All in all, a very successful shopping trip that didn't end in a headache for once!
